Lina Peterson has earned her Master’s Degree in Health Psychology and has been practicing in the field of mental health and substance abuse since 2000. She is experienced in working with adults, adolescents, couples and families in assisting them to overcome a variety of challenges. Her primary expertise lies in the field of addictions and compulsive disorders, including both the individuals suffering from the disease as well as providing support for their families. She approaches healing as a holistic task, that includes body, mind and soul. Trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities she integrates principals from both medical and psychological models, as well as philosophies from self-help communities. She has had the opportunity to live and practice in many places around the globe and views clients’ unique individuality as a most precious aspect of their existence.
